Have you ever felt this way?
Or are feeling this way right now?
“When you have a good heart:
You help too much.
You trust too much.
You give too much.
You love too much.
And it always seems
you hurt the most.”
– Nishan Panwar
You feel taken advantage of, and you ask yourself over and over,
“What’s wrong with me? What did I do wrong? How could they do that to me?”
You do what you do out of the goodness of your heart, and then, it’s just never good enough!
Well listen, you ARE good enough! You are BETTER then good enough, you just have to tell yourself that you don’t deserve that kind of treatment, from anyone, and that you can move on.
Just because someone took (or is taking) advantage of you, your kindness, your “good heart”,
doesn’t mean that you give up. You don’t give up, EVER!!
Love – it’s a part of life most of us crave.
There are going to be people who hurt you, and it will hurt…a lot.
There are going to be people who come and go.
And they just won’t care.
But guess what? You can learn from these people.
Don’t be those people…
There’s another quote, which stands so true…the author is unknown:
“The first to apologize is the bravest.
The first to forgive is the strongest.
And the first to forget is the happiest.”
So, do just that! Find it within yourself to apologize, forgive, and forget.
Even if it’s silently…because YOU is what matters first.
And if you’re not 110%, then it’s going to be hard for you to connect with others, and move on.
I’m not saying it’s easy, or it’s going to happen overnight.
It will get better, but in time. Healing takes time.
Remember to stand up for yourself, and your beliefs.
Find the strength and courage to keep pushing forward.
Keep the goodness in you heart…you got this!! ❤️
