“Life may be blurry sometimes,
and you may have to PAUSE.
It’s OK to pause…just don’t STOP!
Push PLAY when you are ready,
and keep on going…”
– Sandra Scala
I could sit and complain about things that were done, or words that were said.
But the thing is, it doesn’t matter.
What was done, was done.
What was said, was said.
What’s meant to be will be.
There will always be “stuff”….just different piles!
I’ve always pushed myself for my kids.
When I became a single mom.
When I had to stop working.
When I lost my license.
When I remarried.
You see, they deserve the BEST of me.
They look up to me, they learn from me, they look to me for guidance and love.
And so, pain and frustration can’t always be hidden from them either, because those are emotions that children ALSO need to learn. Even though it may not be understood now – in this moment – it will be when the right time comes.
I say over and over, anxiety is NOT fun, blindness is NOT fun, and most especially when you’re living in it! BUT, I re-focus my mind, I take a deep breath, smile, laugh, and I realize that even if things are blurry, I will remember to PAUSE. Think. STOP if I have to, and push PLAY when I’m ready!
I’m grateful for my family and friends.
SO grateful. Life has its way of working out.
The journey can be great, but we have to push ourselves to get there! ❤️
Let’s untangle our mind, and set it free…Sandra Scala
