Do “good things fall apart so better things can fall together”?
I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
– Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe’s full quote can pertain to so many things in life! I find her words to be truly inspiring and yes, they have helped me along my ways in my past, and even perhaps in my world, today…
Here’s the thing – “sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together” – you may ask yourself, “Do they? Really?”
I say yes, but I have seen it in past events in my life. And that’s the thing, it can pertain to anything, really, whether it be relationships, friendships, sickness, or even a job. It is all about life, period.
I’ve said it before, and I say it again – everything does happen for a reason – I truly believe this! And now – a new year, a new decade, a new beginning!!!
Let’s break it down a bit here:
Relationships – What do you do when you are in an unhealthy relationship, one where you are not happy? Are you so content with your life that you pretend everything is okay? Are you so used to the way you are treated that it is okay to stay where you are? Or do you move on, in hopes that you will find love again … ?
Friendships – Don’t you find sometimes that some people just rub you off the wrong way? What do you do when you have tried to remain at peace? Do you just smile and pretend that everything is okay? Or do you stick up for your beliefs and let them go, continuing on with your life?
Sickness – How is it that you are faced with sickness, whether it be something as serious as cancer or something such as surgery, or even such as pain on a daily basis? How is it that you are faced with challenges that require assistance and guidance?
Jobs – Are you truly satisfied with your job? Can you do better or rather, do you deserve better? Are you staying in your job because of financial difficulties and because it’s stable, even though you are not happy? Are you doing it for the wrong reasons? Or are you truly happy?
All these questions for these four areas of life. All these questions. And really, you ask, “What can I do about it?” But I say – “What areyou going to do about it?“
Let me ask you this …
What are you so scared of?
You see, you have a choice. You have decisions to make. And you have to do what makes sense to you, in that moment. You may not realize it at that time, but once you do, it all clicks together. It’s like Marilyn Monroe says in a section of her quote above,
sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
Are you blinded by love? Are you made promises that are never owned up to? Are you worried about what other people think of you? Are you worried that if you lose your job, you will lose everything? Are you, are you, are you? …
Yes, you may find that life is crumbling around you, but you just don’t know what is set for the next day! You just don’t know what awaits you!! Keep trying and don’t let fear hold you back!!
I stopped explaining myself when I realized other people only understand from their level of perception.
Each and every one of us have our own perception of how we look at a situation. And as hard as you try, some people, just won’t get where you are coming from.
Let it be OKAY.LET. IT. GO.
Why, you ask? Because. The more you think about it, the more your mind gets all tangled up into a web of negative thoughts.
If people don’t get it the first time, there’s no need for you to keep trying to explain yourself. NO NEED!
YOU are what matters, so close your eyes. Deep breath. And focus your energy on the positive things in your life!
Try to stay strong. Believe in yourself and find your inner strength to keep pushing forward, one day at a time! ❤️
As you bring in the new year, remember who stood by you through the tough times. Appreciate the good times, and look forward to what is yet to come!!
